A Prayer To Carry With You

At FIT Health + Wellness, we've always believed that true wellness is about more than physical health. Caring for our bodies is important, but lasting wellness also involves nurturing our minds and our spirits.
Strength isn't measured only by the weight we can lift or the distance we can walk. It's also found in perseverance, hope, peace, and the courage to keep moving forward through life's changing seasons. When we care for our whole selves—mind, body, and spirit—we build a foundation that carries us through both the joys and the challenges of life.
Over the years, our Balance + Mobility class became much more than an exercise class. It became a place where friendships formed, encouragement was shared, and every small step forward was celebrated. While participants came to improve their balance and mobility, we hope they also left each class feeling encouraged, supported, and reminded that they were capable of more than they realized.
At our final class, we wanted to leave participants with something they could carry long after the last exercise was finished. We shared the prayer below as a reminder that while seasons change, the strength, confidence, and resilience they've built remain with them.
As we continue through life's different seasons, we're reminded of God's promise:
"So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."
— Isaiah 41:10 (NIV)
Whether you were part of our class or simply found your way here, we hope these words bring you peace and encouragement.
Lord,
We come to You with grateful hearts today.
Thank You for bringing this group together,
for the time we’ve shared,
and for the work that’s been done here—both seen and unseen.
Thank You for every person in this room—
for their commitment, their effort,
and the courage it takes to keep showing up,
even on the days it isn’t easy.
Thank You for the strength that’s been built,
the balance that’s been improved,
and the confidence that has grown over time.
These things matter—and they don’t disappear.
As we close this chapter,
help us to move forward with that same strength and confidence.
Remind each person here that they are capable,
that they have what they need to continue,
and that progress is something they carry with them.
For any uncertainty or hesitation about what’s next,
replace it with motivation and peace.
For any discouragement, bring encouragement.
For any fear, bring reassurance.
Bless each person here—
in their health, in their daily routines, and in their lives.
Keep them safe, steady, and strong.
And remind them often of how far they’ve come.
And for us, Lord,
thank You for the opportunity to serve this group.
Help us carry forward the impact of this time with gratitude,
and trust that You are guiding what comes next.
We are thankful for this moment,
for this group,
and for the journey we’ve shared.
Amen.
